Maruya Seito freely expresses shapes using tatara (mold) technique. The small plates are made in accordance with the season. These plates are depicting flowers, carefully made by hand, which are made with valuing the uniqueness of the plate itself. All tools they use are handmade, including molds and paper patterns as well as detailed engravings, allowing for delicate and free expression.
