Minami-Gama 南窯

Minami-gama is a small studio located in Dachi, a town in the eastern part of Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, which is a major production center of Mino ware. All pieces are handmade by throwing, molding, glaze mixing, painting, and firing. The pottery is unique and special with the color, texture, warmth, and appearance.

The owner of Minami-gama, Takumi Kudo, also works as an individual artist, creating works with his originality, and was awarded the title of Mino Ware Traditional Craftsman in 2005.
