Collection: Shoto-En 正陶苑
This small studio, located in Toki city, Gifu Prefecture, the center of Mino ware production, mainly produces ceramics called "earthenware" by hand, which is everyday-use tableware that fits the modern lifestyle. While incorporating traditional techniques, they polish their pottery, making it with care, and use a wide variety of designs and techniques from Japanese taste to slipware. Their specialty is soft warmth texture made by drawing out the natural clay and glaze.
